In this trip you will sail roughly 250 zm

Training & exploration of the South English Coast and The Solent. The English South Coast is also called the English Riviera. A trip in which we can fully apply our experience in multiple areas. We make stop along the coast when we have the tide against us. Though, it also makes sense to skip a stop in favorable weather conditions. The coast is fantastic and after every Cape Sheerness, Beachy Head, you get one step closer to The Solent. Along the way there is time to step ashore to discover the towns and villages. The Solent is the cradle of English water sports. Typical are the numerous English RYA training centers.

The wind almost always blows, but the Isle of Wight protects The Solent from the influences of the open sea. In addition to the numerous anchorages, there are many harbors with a typical classic appearance. At the Royal Yacht Club of Cowes, for example, each year the start signal sounds of the Fastnet race, the (Volvo) Ocean Race and of course the Cowesweek.

The water is clear light green due to the limestone bottom, which invites you to take a dip. The nautical challenge is to respond to shallows with cross tides, light sectors and large shipping. The typical tidal currents around the Isle of Wight determine the sailing plan. In addition to active boating, we visit a number of rivers. We can sail upwards to navigate and anchor endlessly, while enjoying the beautiful landscape.
